With over 15 years of social work field experience, supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, Vida Drah brings deep compassion, insight, and professionalism to her counselling work. She is a Provisional Clinical Social Worker registered with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW) and holds a Bachelor and Master of Social Work, with a clinical specialization.

Vida believes in holistic, client-centered care that attends to the emotional, psychological, physical, and spiritual aspects of a person's well-being.

Drawing from a trauma-informed lens, she blends evidence-based approaches-such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy-with a strengths-based philosophy. Her integrative approach allows her to tailor therapy to the unique challenges and goals of each client.

Vida recognizes that human struggles are rarely one-dimensional. This understanding guides her use of an integrative approach, grounding her work in a primary therapeutic model while skillfully incorporating ideas and tools from other approaches. She provides support for concerns including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, stress, sleep challenges, and anger.

Vida sees counselling as a partnership where you are met with warmth, respect, and skilled guidance. Whether you're navigating a difficult life transition or working toward long-term healing, Vida is committed to creating a safe, empowering space for your journey.
